Mammoths Win Close Game With Unicorns, 3-2
UTICA, Mich. – Josh Mason threw 7.0 innings picking up his sixth win of the season while striking out five as the Westside Woolly Mammoths (14-12) defeated the Utica Unicorns (13-14), 3-2, on Wednesday night at Jimmy John’s Field.
Ethan Wiskur and Jalin Lawson each hit a home run for the Woolly Mammoths. LHP Joel Sharon earned his third save, striking out three in 2.0 innings of work.
Daniel Williams went 2-for-4 hitting his first home run of the season for the Unicorns. Chris Dula set a new USPBL record for fastest pitch hitting 101 MPH, breaking his own record.
