Unicorns Power Past Mammoths, 6-3

UTICA, Mich. – Drue Galassi hit his second home run of the season and right-handed pitcher Keon Taylor picked up his third win of the USPBL powered by UWM season to lead the Utica Unicorns (5-1) to a 6-3 win over the Westside Woolly Mammoths (3-2) on Friday night at Jimmy John’s Field.
Austin Decarr tossed 3.3 innings, scattering three hits, one run and struck out four. Noah Childress finished 1-for-3 with two RBIs and scored two runs, including a home run. Ari Sechopolos joined in on the fun and hit his first home run of the season.
The Unicorns (5-1) will take on the Mammoths (3-2) again this Sunday for Sunday Fun Day featuring Police Dog Hero.
