Justin Karn
Assistant Manager
Justin Karn enters his third season in the United Shore Professional Baseball League. In addition to the USPBL, Karn has coached across several levels of college baseball, including stops in his home state on New York, Florida, and the former Head Coach of Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan.
As an Assistant at Division II St. Thomas Aquinas, Karn oversaw a pitching staff that led the Spartans to back-to-back Conference Championships and an appearance in the 2014 Division II College World Series. The 2015 recruiting class at St. Thomas included five future professional baseball players, including two MLB draft picks.
When he was the Head Coach at Madonna University, the 2022 Crusaders were ranked as high as 32nd nationally and appeared in the NAIA National Tournament. In his second season at the helm, Madonna has produced 14 All-Conference players with four players who went to sign a progressional contract.
Prior to his coaching career, Karn was a four year starter at Iona College (NY), where he also served as a third year team captain.
Karn is married to Lauren – the Head Softball Coach at The University of Maryland. Together they have two children, Mickey and Sophie.
