2018 Utica Ice Festival at Jimmy John’s Field

Utica, Mich. — The 2018 Utica Ice Festival will take place Feb. 9-11 in historic downtown Utica. The United Shore Professional Baseball League will be hosting the second day of the festival on Feb. 10 from Noon to 9 p.m. at Jimmy John’s Field. Events at Jimmy John’s Field on Saturday include:
Available All Day –
- Food and drinks in the AAA Clubhouse
- Fire pits, hot chocolate, and s’more making in the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Right Field Patio
- Corn hole and wiffle ball
- Kids will be able to collect USPBL baseball cards and stamps for the Stamp Book Collector Series
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Wine & Craft Beer Tasting in the AAA Clubhouse
- Craft beers will feature Sherwood Brewing, Brooks Brewing and New Belgium Brewing. The tasting will be $5 for three 3 oz. pours.
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Food Trucks in the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Right Field Patio
- USPBL Mascots and Rosco the Clown Meet & Greets
- Carousel and Giant Inflatable Slide
- Face Painting (12:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Frozen Character Meet & Greets & Princess Costume Contest in the AAA Clubhouse
4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Performances by Laughing Madmen in front of the AAA Clubhouse
6:00 pm – The Disney movie Frozen plays on the Scoreboard
8:20 pm – Fireworks sponsored by C&G Newspapers
About United Shore Professional Baseball League
Rochester, Michigan-based General Sports and Entertainment founded the United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL), an independent professional baseball league in metro Detroit in 2015. The league plays in the new state-of-the-art $17 million dollar ballpark named Jimmy John’s Field, located in downtown Utica, Mich. The first of its kind for the region, the USPBL provides a fun and exciting family atmosphere while showcasing top baseball talent from across the country and world to fans of all ages. The USPBL currently features four teams – the Utica Unicorns, Eastside Diamond Hoppers, Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers and Westside Woolly Mammoths. The USPBL’s 2018 baseball season will begin May 11 and will run through Sept. 9. Additional teams and ballparks will be added in future years.
