This Week in the USPBL – Episode 17

ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers (27-21) captured their third consecutive regular-season title and will compete for the United Shore Professional Baseball League Championship this Sunday to highlight This Week in the USPBL. The playoffs will begin on Friday night with the No. 3 seed Utica Unicorns (24-24) vs. the No. 4 seed Westside Woolly Mammoths (21-27). The winner will advance to take on the No. 2 seed Eastside Diamond Hoppers (24-23) on Saturday night at Jimmy John’s Field in historic downtown Utica.
Game times for Friday and Saturday are set for 7:05 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m. The Unicorns and Mammoths will sign team posters on Friday night from 6-6:30 pm. The USPBL will recognize the magical run by Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores all the way to the Little League World Series on Saturday during the game. Championship Sunday will begin at 1:05 p.m. with gates opening up at Noon.
