Living Donor Awareness Night
The third annual Living Donor Awareness game honors living donors, educates the public about living donation and encourages fans to consider living donation. In 2023, nearly 7,000 people donated a kidney or a portion of their liver to save a life via transplant. Living donation helps fill the gap between the 100,000+ people in the U.S. who need a transplant and the number of deceased donor organs available. The game is sponsored by the Living Liver Foundation, Henry Ford Health and the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
