USPBL and UWM Announce New Naming Rights Partnership

ROCHESTER, Mich. – January 13, 2026 – The USPBL, a Michigan-based independent professional baseball league, and United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM), the nation’s leading mortgage lender, announced today a 10-year naming rights partnership. As part of this agreement, the league’s ballpark located in downtown Utica Michigan will be renamed to UWM Field, and the league will rebrand its name to USPBL powered by Mortgage Matchup, previously known as USPBL powered by UWM.

A new marquee showcasing UWM Field is expected to be unveiled on Jan. 13. Additional signage and branding will be installed prior to the start of the 2026 season. Fans can also anticipate seeing the updated USPBL powered by Mortgage Matchup name and logo across all platforms, uniforms and signage throughout the 2026 season.

The league provides players with a platform to develop their skills and advance their careers. The USPBL is scouted regularly by Major League teams, and has had 52 players signed to contracts by MLB organizations since beginning operations. At this time, seven former USPBL players have made it all the way up to a Major League roster. Baseball games run May through September, making the USPBL and UWM Field the premier affordable family entertainment venue in Metro Detroit all summer long.
