Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Social Impact
Kroger and USPBL have teamed up for the 2024 season for our Kroger Fights Hunger Program.
The Kroger Fights Hunger program was established to raise awareness about the hunger challenges within our local communities during USPBL games. Together our goal is to rally baseball fans and families to actively participate in supporting Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Social Impact Plan, striving to end hunger by 2025.
One approach to achieve this is by addressing this crucial issue during each home game and inspiring fans to engage with their communities directly in support of Kroger’s initiative.
USPBL fans and supporters can visit our website and nominate local organizations actively combating food insecurity and hunger. Additionally, these deserving groups can self-nominate. Eligible organizations include local food pantries, soup kitchens, food banks, and various food assistance programs, as well as church or school initiatives.
In recognition of their dedicated efforts and positive impact on the community, selected organizations will receive a $100 Kroger gift card courtesy of USPBL and Kroger.
The organizations will be honored during USPBL games, highlighted on our website, and featured in live broadcasts throughout the season, showcasing their generous contributions.
