Justin Orenduff
Executive Director of Baseball Strategy & Development

Justin Orenduff serves as the USPBL’s Executive Director of Baseball Strategy & Development, where he oversees player development initiatives, leverages relationships with Major League Baseball organizations to secure player signings, and leads alumni programs—including the upcoming USPBL All-Decade Team.
A former first-round MLB Draft pick, Orenduff was selected 33rd overall by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004 after a standout collegiate career as a two-time All-American at George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University. He also competed for the 2003 USA Collegiate National Team, sharing a rotation with future MLB stars Justin Verlander and Jered Weaver.
Following a shoulder injury that ended his professional playing career at the Triple-A level, Orenduff turned his focus to improving pitching mechanics and injury prevention. He founded DVS Baseball and created the Delivery Value System (DVS) Scoring System, a groundbreaking model for evaluating pitching mechanics and identifying movement patterns that contribute to arm injuries.
Recognized as one of Crain’s Detroit Business “40 Under 40,” Orenduff has been instrumental in helping USPBL players advance to professional baseball, including Randy Dobnak, the first league alumnus to reach MLB with the Minnesota Twins. His work continues to shape the USPBL as a premier development platform for aspiring professional athletes.
Justin lives in Virginia with his wife, Shahrzad, and their two sons.
