Ben Wilcoxson

Assistant Manager

Ben Wilcoxson joins the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers as Assistant Manager, bringing a strong playing background and a growing track record in player development at the collegiate level.

Wilcoxson played collegiately at Kentucky Wesleyan College from 2018 to 2022, where he earned All-Conference honors twice, including First Team All-GMAC in 2021 and Second Team in 2022, along with ABCA All-Region recognition in 2021. He finished his career among the program’s all-time leaders, ranking first in assists and double plays turned, while also placing in the top five in games started, hits, runs scored, and hit-by-pitches.

Following his collegiate career, Wilcoxson spent three seasons in the USPBL as the starting shortstop for the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers from 2023 to 2025. He earned First Team All-USPBL honors in 2023, was a Defensive Player of the Year nominee each season, and was a key contributor to the Beavers’ 2024 championship team.

In addition to his playing career, Wilcoxson has quickly transitioned into coaching, with experience at Oakland City University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Macomb Community College. His combined experience as a high-level infielder and developing coach brings valuable insight and energy to the Beavers’ staff.
