Gotsis Earns First USPBL Win Over Unicorns, 4-1
UTICA, Mich. – Right-handed pitcher Noah Gotsis (1-0) tossed 5.0 scoreless innings and Zackary Gray went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs to lead the Eastside Diamond Hoppers (2-0) to a 4-1 win over the Utica Unicorns (1-1) on Sunday this Mother’s Day.
Gotsis finished with six strikeouts and allowed five hits. RHP Colby Nealy worked 3.0 innings of relief, striking out five, and RHP Tyler Tomaka tossed a scoreless ninth inning to preserve the three-run victory.
