ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Westside Woolly Mammoths captured their first-ever pennant by defeating the Utica Unicorns last Saturday, and Ethan Wiskur tied the all-time United Shore Professional Baseball League record with 25 home runs to highlight This Week in the USPBL.

Championship Weekend starts this Friday, Sept. 6, and will kick off with the two-time defending champion Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers against the Eastside Diamond Hoppers in a rematch of last year’s championship game at 7:05 p.m. The winner will take on the Utica Unicorns on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and the team that advances will meet the Westside Woolly Mammoths at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday for the USPBL Championship.
