USPBL Announces Staff Promotions

ROCHESTER, Mich. – In an effort to continue to be innovative and creative, the United Shore Professional Baseball League announced some key promotions and additions to the staff on Monday. Taylor Bisnack, Dillon DuBois, Sean Flowerday, Gabriela Kirkland, Nathan Liska, Derek Nichols, Katie Page and Mike Zielinski all earned promotions, while Nicole Pazzi joins the USPBL staff for 2019.

“We are so excited to be able to continue to provide opportunities for advancement within the USPBL and continue to add new talent to our front office team,” said COO Dana Schmitt.

Bisnack surpassed his goals in 2018 and earned a promotion to Senior Sales Account Representative. He will continue to invite fans out to the ballpark for games, summer picnics, company picnics, birthday parties and season tickets.

DuBois was named Director of Ballpark Operations after serving as the Assistant Director of Ballpark Operations over the last two seasons. He will oversee all operations for Jimmy John’s Field, including grounds crew, warehouse, and gameday operations staff.

After spending the last two seasons as the league’s Controller, Flowerday was elevated to Vice President of Finance and Accounting for the league. He oversees all business administration for the USPBL and Jimmy John’s Field.

Kirkland spent the last two seasons as a seasonal staff employee at Jimmy John’s Field and will now serve as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. She will assist with all food and beverage orders, oversee payroll and seasonal staff.

Liska joined the USPBL in March 2017 and he spent last season as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef. He was promoted to Director of Food and Beverage in January and will oversee all food and beverage operations at the ballpark.

Nichols earned a promotion to Business Development Representative for Group Events after a tremendous 2018 season for the USPBL. He was part of a record-setting season for the league last year and will continue to help execute a tremendous gameday experience for all group events at the ballpark.

Page joined the USPBL in February 2018 and was elevated to Director of Marketing after spending the first season as the Graphics Designer. She will assist with the day-to-day operations of marketing and supervise a seasonal staff Graphics Designer, while assisting with the Marketing Intern Program.

Zielinksi has led baseball operations over the last two seasons and earned a promotion to Director of Baseball Administration after his exceptional service. He will continue to assist with all baseball management for the league office.

Pazzi joined the USPBL as the Director of Premium Sales and Services after serving as an Account Executive over the last 16 years for TheHomeMag (2017-19) and Digital First Media (2003-17). She was able to secure record numbers of sales at both organizations and establish a very strong customer service reputation.
